Sailing catamaran "King"
There are three King sailing catamarans, named King 9, King 5, and King 7, that operate near Koh Samui. The catamarans go to Koh Phangan, Koh Tan, and Koh Madsum, depending on the specific boat. We offer a range of experiences depending on the traveler's preferences and the tour chosen. Fishing rods are provided on all tours, and other activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and paddleboarding are included.
King 9 is the smallest catamaran, accommodating up to 10 people, and is the most affordable option. There are no cabins, just an open space. Tours offered include a full day (8.5 hours), half day (4.5 hours) in the morning and afternoon, and short 2.5-hour tours such as a good morning and sunset. Activities on this catamaran include paddleboarding (one board provided), day and evening fishing, and an extended sunset tour with special green lights to attract squid during squid fishing. King 9 only goes to Koh Tan and Koh Madsum, and tickets to Koh Madsum (50 Baht per person), lunch, and transfer are not included.
King 5 is the largest catamaran, accommodating up to 18 people, and is the most modern option. Like King 9, it only goes to Koh Tan and Koh Madsum, the best places for snorkeling and swimming near Samui. Fishing can also be arranged on this catamaran. King 5 is available for overnight tours and has cabins suitable for overnight stays. Tickets to Koh Madsum (50 Baht per person), lunch, and transfer are not included.
King 7 is the medium-sized catamaran, accommodating up to 13 people. It is the only catamaran that stays in the north, making it possible to go to Koh Phangan (full day tour only) or near Samui in the north during half-day or sunset tours. King 7 is also available for overnight tours and has cabins suitable for overnight stays.
Please note that King 5 and 7 have cabins for overnight tours, while King 9 is for day tours only. For tours to faraway destinations like Angthong Marine park, Koh Phangan, or Koh Tao, we recommend booking at least a 1-2 night overnight trip. Some tours may focus on activities such as fishing, while others may focus on exploring local islands and beaches. Our captain is a former experienced fisherman in Angthong, providing a unique opportunity for a fishing experience with a local fishing expert during overnight stays in Angthong. If you are interested in squid fishing, please book an extended sunset tour with King 9 (until 8-8.30 pm) as it has special green lights to attract squid during squid fishing.

Terms and conditions, cancellation policy
- Payment must be made within 3 days after reservation date and not later than 3 day(s) before tour date otherwise reservation expires;
- Koh Sanuk reserves the right to cancel or postpone a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather conditions). By agreement tour can be rescheduled to another day or company will make full refund;
- Service provider reserves the right to change the trip itinerary and/or destination if weather (wind, waves) does not allow to execute the trip itinerary;
- Client has the right to cancel a booking up to 3 day(s) prior to the tour date. Is this case Koh Sanuk will refund full payment minus bank fee;
- From 3 day(s) up to 1 day(s) before the tour date Koh Sanuk reserves the right charge up to 50% cancellation fee;
- In case of cancellation in 1 day(s) or less from the tour date/time or "No Show", Koh Sanuk will charge up to 100% invoice amount cancellation fee.
